Older versions of vCenter used the term "Rolling Failover" to describe the recovery behavior of bonded PNICs. The settings were confusing:

No - The adapter is returned to active duty immediately upon recovery
In the current version of vCenter, VMware has changed the term to "Failback" which is much more meaningful.
