On this date in 2007, VMware releases Fusion 1.0, a VMware Workstation like product for the Apple Mac. Fusion was the first VMware product to introduce Unity view - a technology which takes the guest VM start menu and application windows and presents them as a seamless window the Mac as if it was running PC applications.
