When virtualizing Microsoft Network Load Balancing (NLB) in unicast mode, be sure the effective "Notify Switches" switch port policy for this VM (whether by portgroup or by vSwitch) is set to "No" or else the VM will have various networking issues with other network hosts. NLB in multicast mode is not impacted by this setting.
